YEYE from Taiwan Presents Plant Textures with Leather
Meet Taiwanese designers Maxwell Yeh and Hank Lai, the duo who created leather plant diffusers!
With a large list of celebrity and power publication fans including Vogue, L’Official, Grazia, Harpers Bazaar and Vanity Fair, Nour Hammour is a Parisian luxury ready to wear label, specialising in leather. They are the go to brand for the perfect leather jacket – the best you’ll ever own!
Nour Hammour, is originally Syrian, born in the USA and moved to Paris at age 12. Her partner Erin Webb, is a Californian who moved to Paris at age 26 to study Fashion at Istituto Marangoni, where they both met. They launched the label with bespoke designs that grew a cult following in Europe, and then it caught the eye of celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Hailey Bieber, Beyoncé, Wil.i.am and Justin Bieber – who all own custom pieces.
The collections are centred around the deeply rooted history of leather as a symbol of power, strength and resistance. By focusing on the duality of leather: provocation and sensuality, rebellion and utility, they manage to capture the pulse of this ethos and re-invent the leather jacket. Collections are designed in Paris, use responsibly sourced by-product leather, and manufacture at a scale that is proportional to demand!
While Le Perfecto remains at the centre of the creative process, Nour Hammour has pushed its own boundaries and evolved towards new creative designs, new textures, bold colours and unexpected shapes to redefine effortless luxury.

We asked you ‘how sustainable is your wardrobe’ and you answered us. The online quiz may have been designed as a bit of fun, but it also carries a serious message and we found the results pretty encouraging.
We catch up with Wang Ruyan and discuss the inspiration behind her designs for the Student Design Competition.
