Lan Anh said of her People’s Choice winning design HORN-TO-HOPE: “It unites the strength of the rhino with the resilience of the orchid to symbolise endurance through adversity. Rhinos, threatened by poaching, and orchids, thriving in harsh conditions, become a single emblem of perseverance and care.”
A recent graduate of Hoa Sen University in Vietnam, Lan Anh was her class valedictorian, leaving with a solid foundation in design principles, strong technical skills and a deep passion for creativity.
She said: “I aspire to contribute to the dynamic fashion industry with fresh perspectives and a sincere dedication to craftsmanship.”
Explaining the motivation behind HORN-TO-HOPE, Lan Anh said: “The piece is a reminder of the beauty within struggle – and of our responsibility to protect what’s at risk. We may be the cause of their suffering, but we can also be the reason they survive.”
