It’s that time of year again – with a particular focus on sustainability, London Fashion Week 2020 saw a range of quirky yet stunning looks from both regular and up-and-coming designers from around the world. It wasn’t easy, but we’ve put together our five favourite looks from the always-unpredictable biannual event.
Quinn’s AW20 look brought a catwalk brimming with colour and glamour to his show, alongside a humorous coat with a ‘God Save the Quinn’ embellishment on the back. Our favourite design has to be this anarchic leather look – who said fashion had limits!?
Launching his career in 1969, there’s no doubt Hilfiger has been the centrepiece of many fashion weeks over the years. This week he unveiled his fourth collection in partnership with Lewis Hamilton, with featured celebrities including Gigi Hadid and Zendaya. Take a peek at his popular Spring show here.
Irish designer Richard Malone has really looked into the future of sustainability in fashion by using upcycled felt, hand-woven wool and introducing leather into his works. His catwalk show brought a gorgeous blend of fabrics into his spellbinding collection, which you can check out here.
Using sustainable materials such as bamboo and hemp silk, O’Neill’s designs bring a surreal collection of optical illusions into her works. Take a look at her mesmerising looks she brought to the catwalk here.
Last, but certainly not least, Rejina Pyo is known for designing clothes that you could actually see in your own wardrobe (crazy, we know). Her simple style, chic accessories and stand-out footwear are the reasons she made this list – see for yourself!
