Shortlist Unveiled

The Real Leather. Stay Different. (RLSD) International Student Design Competition has unveiled its shortlist, With 1,483 projects submitted from around the world, this year’s competition is our biggest yet. But numbers only tell part of the story – what’s truly blown us away is a real uplift in the quality of sustainable design and innovation we’re witnessing. The shortlisted designs highlight leather’s beauty, versatility and durability and show the way to a more sustainable future.

Competition judges now face a difficult task in choosing the finalists – from reimagined classic silhouettes to totally original conceptual pieces, these young designers are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with leather.

Voting for the coveted People’s Choice Award is now open as well! Choose your favourite here. But hurry, the poll closes on August 18.
