The buzz around this year’s Real Leather. Stay Different. International Student Design Competition is building. We’ve already been blown away by the amazing entries we’ve received so far but there’s still time to enter AND get your design in front of fashion’s most influential decision makers.
We’re thrilled to announce that all competition finalists will be flown to Taiwan’s capital city, Taipei, for the final judging event hosted at the incredible Ambi Space One!

Finalists will receive flights and accommodation and the chance to present their designs in a venue designed to give the ultimate in immersive experiences. Taipei is one of the world’s most exciting cities. Ancient Buddhist temples sit side by side with skyscrapers and bustling night markets serving delicious local food compete with top international restaurants. The quirky themed cafes and bars fuel the thrilling atmosphere of the Ximending district which is the hub of the city’s youth culture scene. Taipei’s fashion scene is increasingly influential, blending a rich cultural heritage with contemporary global trends.
Located in the Taipei 101, Ambi Space One is equipped with cutting-edge 5G technology, stunning 4K/2K projection mapping and a mesmerising surround sound system. The whole venue is a digital canvas where art, technology and imagination meet. The event, scheduled for October 28, will be the latest in a series of glamorous finals. The 2024 final saw finalists from around the globe converge at the U.S. Embassy in London and the 2023 final took place in fashion capital Milan at the Museo Nazionale Sciencze e Tecnoligia Leonardo da Vinci.
The Taipei event will continue our record of providing a high-profile stage for young designers to gain international recognition and forge connections with influential figures in the fashion world.
