Meet finalist Alice and discover ‘Fragments’, a project that challenges the perception of leather design through a stained glass inspired approach to pattern cutting.
Dukes Cupboard’s HQ in London’s Soho is more of a museum of cool than a conventional clothes shop. But the great thing about this museum is that all the exhibits are up for grabs.
Run by Milo and Ned, Dukes Cupboard has sold designer classics to some huge stars, including A$ap Rocky, Kim Jones, Octavian, Slow Thai and Loyle Carner.
From their beginnings selling vintage sportswear and T-shirts from a market stall, to adding their own designs to their stock of carefully sourced designer classics, Milo and Ned have travelled a long way. Literally, in fact – the boys go on four or five top-secret buying trips worldwide each year.
Their missions are obviously very successful. As well as keeping their London store packed with classics, there have been Dukes Cupboard pop ups in New York, Paris and LA.
We popped into their store to snap some pictures and check out what interesting vintage leather pieces they had to offer- we’re a little bit obsessed with the Sopranos jacket!
If you’re in London don’t forget to drop by the store at 14 Ingestre Place – a definite must see for vintage sportswear fans. They also recently popped up at Selfridges London as part of their sustainable wardrobe showcase… Keep watching this space for more exciting collabs!
