There’s no better way for a man to make a sartorial statement than with a leather suit and Wonka star Timothée Chalamet managed two different ones as the film’s premieres rolled out around the world.
At the Los Angeles premiere he looked fantastic in an alligator printed dark brown leather number and at the Tokyo premier he wore a lavender leather Prada shirt and trouser combo.
He wore the Prada outfit with the shirt tucked in and the collar popped, looking like a Willy Wonka Elvis mash-up. The brown leather outfit looked positively restrained in comparison.
Wonka isn’t the only pending potential blockbuster that Chalamet is starring in. With Dune 2 scheduled for early 2024, we await his style decision eagerly. Leather with a sci-fi twist sounds just perfect.
