美国原皮皮革委员会(L&HCA)全球同步发布首支市场推广视频- “Real Leather. Stay Different.
Judges have chosen the finalists in the Italian Real Leather. Stay Different. Student design competition, and the successful students now face the exciting task of making prototypes of their creations.
Italy’s schools and workshops have reopened following lockdown and the competition can now resume.
A jury made up of industry experts and academics has chosen 23 finalists from a very strong field across all competition sections – clothing, footwear and accessories.
Shortlisted designers come from prestigious institutions from all over Italy including the Istituto Marangoni Milano Fashion, Polimoda di Firenze and the Accademia Costume & Moda di Roma.
The finalists will be given the materials they need to bring their designs to life before they face the judges. Winners of each section will be chosen by a combination of votes from the judging panel and an online public poll.
The public vote will open in mid-February and judges will choose the overall category winners in mid-March. Each will receive a Gold Award as well as a fourth winner, chosen entirely by the public vote.
Winners will be announced on Instagram by Rollacoaster magazine and the awards ceremony for the winners of each category is scheduled to take place in September during Lineapelle, Milan’s famous international leather fair, where all the prototypes will be exhibited.
