For this year’s China Mainland competition, we are proud to present a dynamic judging panel featuring some of the country’s most respected voices in leather craftsmanship, accessories innovation and technical garment design.
From internationally recognised designers to expert pattern-makers and creative directors, each brings a unique perspective to the table. Their collective experience spans decades and disciplines, ensuring that every RLSD entry is assessed with both creative vision and technical precision. Meet the judges shaping this year’s competition below.

Guo Feifei Founder, GOFEFE
An established figure in China’s leather design community, Guo Feifei is the founder of GOFEFE, a leather accessories brand known for its collaborations with top designers at China and New York Fashion Weeks. A graduate of Tsinghua University’s Academy of Arts & Design, Guo is a long-time champion of excellence in accessories design. He serves on the Accessories Art Committee of the China Fashion Association and is chief judge for major competitions including the China International Fashion Accessories Design Competition and the GLM Award.
Li Shanglun Founder & Designer, extra one studio
Li Shanglun is the creative force behind extra one studio, China’s first independent accessory brand launched under ZUCZUG. A graduate of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology with a specialisation in bagwear design, Li began his career as a designer at ZUCZUG in 2014 before founding his own studio in 2017. His work explores minimalism and innovation in functional leather goods, appealing to a new generation of conscious consumers.
Xu Lin Chairwoman, Technical Committee, China Designers Association
With a career spanning over two decades, Xu Lin is widely respected as a leading pattern-making and garment construction expert in China. She has judged numerous national competitions and is a multiple award-winner for styling and technical design, including the “Best Creative Styling Award” at China Fashion Week. Founder of Xu Lin Studio in 1997, she has overseen thousands of projects and consulted for high-profile fashion brands such as Fengfei Fashion and WEIWEI. Her depth of technical knowledge makes her an essential member of this year’s RLSD judging panel.
